UConn SPARK STEM Summer Camp – inspiring the next generation of Women Engineers & Scientists

July 8 – 13  Coding in Space – Learn the basics of coding and its real world applications using Arduino.

July 15 – 20  Underwater Robotics – Build an underwater remotely operated vehicle and other small robots.

July 22 – 27  3D Printing for a Better Earth – Bring your ideas to life and tackle design challenges using a 3D printer

July 29 – Aug 3  Engineering Through the Ages – Time Travel to conquer challenges as engineers of the past, present & future

Babson College, Summer Study for High School Students   July 6 – August 3

Babson is offering an immersive 4-week residential summer program to live like a college student and learn like an entrepreneur.  The program provides rising Juniors and Seniors, at least 16 years of age at the start of the program, the opportunity to explore ways in which to positively impact the world using an entrepreneurial mindset.

Summer Study students will take a 4-credit college course, Introduction to the Entrepreneurial Experience.  The class will combine classroom learning with workshops, guest lectures and visits to local organizations.

Requirements:  application form with essay, recommendation from a school administrator, transcript, application fee of $50

Tuition $8,500 includes tuition for 4 college credits, activities and BCBS health insurance plan.  Accommodations include bed, linens, dresser and desk asl well as internet access and air conditioning.  Each student will receive a network-connected laptop for use during the program.
