Information regarding school closure due to inclement weather

Preschool Inclement Weather Notice

Dear Dewing Preschool Families,

Please see the following information as it relates to preschool programming in the event of weather-related closures/delays. 

SCHOOL CLOSURE (district procedure)

NEW: In the event of school closure due to inclement weather (or other), a full remote learning day for all students may be implemented as determined at the District Level.  

Preschool Students at the Dewing: Please follow your child’s Wednesday schedule for ANY school closure days. Your child’s teacher will be in contact with your child virtually at the regularly scheduled Wednesday time (regardless of the school closure day).

DELAYED START- In the unlikely event that there is a delayed start, 

• For students who are in the Morning Integrated Preschool, classes will be canceled. 

• For students who are in the Afternoon Preschool, classes will be held at the regularly scheduled time. 

• For students who are in the Developmental Learning Center, the classes will have a start time of 10:00. (This includes DLC students who are spending time in both the Integrated and DLC)
