STEM is an acronym that stands for science, technology, engineering and math. The STEM lab at the Trahan will stand at the academic intersection of innovation, play and traditional academics.  Students will visit the STEM lab each week, as they do with their other specialists (gym, art, technology, music).  While there, they will find a place to build, assemble, create, share and have fun learning!  There will be teacher-led projects (hands-on, design, collaborative) that will help students develop new skills and the STEM lab is also a place for students to have pride in their work!

When the 3rd and 4th grade students return to school in the fall, we are eager to launch them into the next generation of education by setting the standard as the first elementary school in Tewksbury to offer a STEM lab!

The new STEM lab at the Trahan Elementary School was made possible by the generous support of the Heath Brook/Trahan Parent Advisory Council (PAC), Tewksbury Public Schools District and the Tewksbury Education Foundation (TEF).
