Dear Parents,
Welcome to Center Elementary School. We are looking forward to an educational, safe, and fun year. We hope everyone is well-rested and had a summer break!
We are so proud of our staff and students for having a successful first full year. We love our beautiful new building and are continuing to work to create our new identity as a Center Elementary Community!
Our new times are 8:10-2:30. Doors open at 7:55. We now match the Ryan school’s times. A few reminders when entering the building: You will be directed to an iPad to log in and receive a visitor badge. Safety is a priority, so please do not hold doors open while entering the building, even if you know the person behind you. All staff and students are being trained as well. You will also notice various sets of secured doors in the building just outside the office area. This will limit access to the classroom area of the building.
For the students dismissed as pick up, parents are asked to register on Pickup Patrol. All adults involved in picking up your children need to be on the student’s pick-up list from Pickup Patrol. If your child needs to be dismissed in a manner other than their norm, a written note/Change in Pickup Patrol needs to be provided. We can not take a verbal statement from a child regarding their dismissal. We want everyone to arrive and leave safely. We will be reviewing pick-up and drop-off processes throughout the year.
The CES PAC meetings have started and we are excited about working with our families to create a rich learning environment at Center Elementary School.
