North Street Parent Advisory Council (PAC), is a group of parents, guardians, teachers, and other advocates for the children enrolled at the North Street School. This group was established to better the lives of our students. Through fundraising efforts we are able to offer school wide and grade specific Arts and Enrichments activities (Bubblemania, Michelles Menagerie), Family Social Nights (Holiday Breakfast and Ice Cream Social), teacher supply reimbursements, Book Fairs, technology purchases (computer carts with 25 laptops) and other activities. Without the PAC, due to limited school budgets, none of these things would be possible.
The PAC meets monthly to discuss new ideas and plan events. It would be great if you could join us. If you are interested in obtaining more information, or in helping out in any way, please feel free to contact:firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each year, the PAC holds an annual Membership Drive. During this time, we try to inform the parents and guardians of the students of our plans for the future and find new members.
Each member is encouraged to attend monthly meetings to offer advice and suggestions for planned events (even if you can’t attend the meetings your help is greatly appreciated!!!), help with fund raising, or any other ways in which we can help to enrich the lives of our students while here at North Street School. We meet jointly with the Dewing PAC, and alternate meeting host schools as our year progresses.
