There are only a few scholarships available at this time.<br \/>\nThe majority of scholarships open up in December or later. You can also pick up a hard copy of the spreadsheet in the Career Center of the Guidance Office.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The spreadsheet will be updated regularly as more scholarship opportunities become available. The spreadsheet contains all the information you need about each scholarship, including any links for online scholarship applications. You will also find hard copies of the scholarship applications, and the spreadsheet, in the Guidance Office Career Center. Many, but not all, of the donor organizations on the Scholarship Spreadsheet will be present at our Annual Scholarship &amp; Awards Night in May. \u00a0This event is by invitation only. \u00a0If you are receiving an award, you and your family will receive an invitation in early May. \u00a0The date for the 2026 event is May 21, 2026<i>.\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Many of these scholarship applications require you to include an official school transcript and\/or recommendation letter(s).\u00a0 Please complete the\u00a0<em>Transcript Request Form\u00a0<\/em>and\/or<em>\u00a0The Recommendation Letter Request Form<\/em> (which forms can be found in the Guidance Office) as soon as you know you will be needing either of these items.\u00a0 You must allow a minimum of 2 days for your counselor or Ms. Fronduto to prepare a transcript for you. You must allow at least 7 days for a recommendation letter to be prepared so that it can be mailed out prior to your deadline. Please check for those requirements right away when filling out your applications so that you can get your request in!!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>There will be many other scholarships available to you \u2013 these are just the ones that come through our office. So be sure to check with your parents for any organizations, clubs, unions, employer, etc. to see if there are any additional scholarship opportunities for you.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This\u00a0<strong>Scholarship Spreadsheet<\/strong>\u00a0is updated regularly. \u00a0A few of the scholarships are available in early Fall, and we do put announcements out about them when they come up, but the majority of them come to us during the winter. \u00a0Starting in January, you should check this list weekly as that is when the bulk of scholarships come in and scholarships will be added almost daily at that time.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The\u00a0<strong>Community Scholarship Application<\/strong>\u00a0will be available in late December\/early January.\u00a0 You can pick up a hard copy in the Career Center when it\u2019s available.\u00a0 This is the application that is used by many of the local donors and most school PAC\u2019s and takes only a few minutes to complete. \u00a0This application is open to ALL graduating seniors currently residing in Tewksbury, not just TMHS students. \u00a0You need to complete this application only once!\u00a0 Ms. Fronduto will review each donors\u2019 requirements, make copies and send copies to the appropriate group.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Most\u00a0<strong>Tewksbury Youth Sports Groups<\/strong>\u00a0make their applications available online through their websites. Requirements vary from group to group, so you will have to review each one\u2019s application. As soon as these groups notify me that their application is available online, I will indicate so on the spreadsheet. Please note that we are not always notified when these applications are available, so check the youth sports\u2019 websites regularly starting in mid-January.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Most\u00a0<strong>Booster Groups<\/strong>\u00a0also provide scholarships to their members. \u00a0If you do not see your group on the spreadsheet by mid-February, please ask your coach or the Booster Club Parent if they will be offering an award this year and if they have an application.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Many\u00a0<strong>Businesses<\/strong>\u00a0also offer scholarships to their employees and employee family members. Check with your employer for scholarship opportunities and ask your parents and relatives to do the same.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We will not be listing <strong>school-specific scholarships<\/strong>\u00a0on this spreadsheet. \u00a0PLEASE make sure to check the website of your school of choice and research what types of scholarships they offer.\u00a0 Almost all schools offer some type of scholarship (merit-based, legacy-based, need-based, etc.). \u00a0If you cannot find anything online, be sure to contact your admissions rep or the school\u2019s financial aid office and ask for assistance.\u00a0 You should also check out the \u201cCollege Corner\u201d section of this website where you will find tons of useful information for local schools.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<div>In addition to the above, we encourage you to use the multitude of resources available to you on the internet to search for scholarships that you may qualify for. Some National websites are:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fastweb.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fastweb<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bigfuture.collegeboard.org\/pay-for-college\">Big Future By College Board<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/studentscholarships.org\/\">Student Scholarships<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please pay close attention to the deadlines on these applications and make sure you have all the required supporting material before submitting your application. \u00a0Most organizations will simply discard your application if you are missing something or did not meet the deadline.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Please understand that this process is not always easy, but it is well worth it if you can receive funds to help defray the high cost of your college education.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Finally,\u00a0<strong>please<\/strong>\u00a0do not hesitate to stop by the Guidance office to speak to someone if you have any questions at all about the scholarship process.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION Class of 2026 Scholarship Information Congratulations Seniors!!!\u00a0 You have started your journey towards college and now it is time to find some Free Money!!
