Andover Street paving continues

From Mr. Libby, our Director of Transportation:

There will be continued paving operations on Andover Street on Monday, May 14 that will require detours in the Andover Street area.  The detours will be very similar to detours that were in place during paving on April 30 & May 1, 2018.  Families should expect that buses will operate in a similar fashion to the way they did on those days.

This particular arrangement will only be in place for one day, Monday, May 14.  Buses should return to normal operations on May 15.

Thanks for your cooperation as the work continues.

Dewing School in brief lockdown this morning.

Good morning. For about 6 minutes this morning the Dewing School was in lockdown in response to a request by the Tewksbury Police Department. At no time were students or staff in any danger, and the school day resumed when we were cleared to do so.

The preschool has a new webpage!

Follow the LINK to look at the new preschool webpage which can be found in the Integrated Preschool tab in Academics. It’s full of great information about our preschool program and has lots of pictures of our young learners hard at work!

Dewing American Flag flies again!

The Dewing School hasn’t been able to fly the American flag outside since a windstorm snapped the rope that is used in the flagpole pulley system.

Many thanks to Jon Marchand, our Director of Facilities, and crews with cherry pickers who strung new rope so that Old Glory could fly again!
